The following document is a transcript of Captain William Larkin Faulk's diary. Capt. Faulk was attached to Company B of the 38th Mississippi Infantry, and his diary concerns the Yankee siege of Vicksburg. The document is presented to you as I received it. All spelling errors are as I found them.

Most of all I would like to thank the Vicksburg National Military Park for allowing me to post this on the web.
